When our clients first approached us, their outdoor space was more of a frustration than a retreat. Loose gravel and uneven walkways created an uninviting environment—making outdoor living nearly impossible and leaving large portions of the area unusable.

Our team stepped in with a vision to turn this area into a seamless extension of the home—comfortable, functional, and built for year-round enjoyment.  We began by clearing the entire space and replacing it with a clean, expansive concrete foundation. This allowed us to create distinct zones, both covered and uncovered, offering versatility for all types of weather and occasions.

We opened up the back of the home by removing an existing wall and installing a sliding glass door, creating a seamless transition from the indoors to the new covered patio. This inviting space features a brick fireplace that sets the tone for cozy fall evenings, along with a spacious dining area perfect for hosting. To make entertaining even easier, we added a pass-through window from the kitchen to the outdoor buffet area—bringing convenience and connection to every gathering.

Moving further along, the uncovered patio runs the full length of the house, providing ample space for a variety of activities. We built a custom curved seating bench in anticipation of a future wood-burning fire pit—an inviting spot for late-night hangouts. Continuing down the patio, there’s a dedicated area designed for a BBQ and grilling station, rounding out the ultimate entertaining experience.

What started as an underutilized area is now a thoughtfully designed outdoor haven—perfect for relaxing, entertaining, and making memories all year long.
