Our clients were ready to say goodbye to their compartmentalized main level, which originally featured a closed-off entryway with a hallway leading to a separated living room, dining room, and kitchen. Each space was isolated by walls—including going through a set of double doors just to access the dining room from the kitchen—which limited both flow and functionality. Their vision was a brighter, open-concept layout that created seamless movement from room to room, along with a generous walk-in pantry designed for food prep, everyday convenience, and discreet storage when entertaining.

What was once a confined entry is now a warm and welcoming arrival point for guests. The redesigned kitchen is the new heart of the home, featuring custom cabinetry, premium appliances, elevated finishes, and an impressive island that serves as the central gathering space. The former breakfast nook area now hosts a beautifully crafted bar equipped with a sink and beverage center—perfect for hosting. Two statement light fixtures draw the eye to the bar and highlight the vertical tile backsplash, bringing texture and visual interest to the space.

While key walls were removed to open the floor plan, a strategically placed new wall allowed us to create the spacious walk-in pantry the homeowners dreamed of. This multifunctional pantry now includes a built-in desk, dedicated printer storage, freezer space, abundant shelving, and ample countertop area for additional prep work.

To complete the transformation, we refinished the flooring throughout the main level for a cohesive look. The fireplace also received a dramatic refresh, becoming a stunning focal point in the secondary living room and adding warmth and character to the home’s updated interior.
